Join us for a Special high tea onboard Cuthbert’s Tram Restaurant.
Cuthbert's is a former Melbourne Tram Restaurant that retired in 2012. Originally built in 1948, it made it’s home in Ballarat in 2014 and began service in Ballarat in 2016.
Your Tram ride will include a delicious high tea made by local Ballarat Caterers Lilly’s at Eureka.
Hot and Cold drinks included.
Enjoy your Freshly made High Tea whilst you travel with views of the beautiful Lake Wendouree in air conditioned / heated comfort.

Boarding is at the front of Ballarat Tram Museum, 100 Gillies St N, Lake Wendouree.
Boarding will commence 10 minutes prior to advertised time of your session.
We do have a 100% refund on this tours 2 days or greater, prior to day of event.
2 days or less, refunds will only be honored due to serious illness or extreme circumstances, as payment will be locked in with our suppliers. In these rare cases, requests must be in writing, and refunds will exclude card processing fees. Refunds will not be given on day of travel.
NO REFUNDS on day of travel / event.
Late arrivals or "no shows" will be deemed as cancellations and will not be entitled to a refund.

Unfortunately we can not cater for most specific dietary requirements, please contact us by email prior to booking with any specific requests.

Unfortunately, some of our transport used in our Yesteryear Travel tours are not always able to take modern mobility aids such as wheelchairs or walking frames.
Access to this tram is via stairs only and as such is not wheel chair friendly.

No toilets are on the tram, but there are two toilet blocks along our trip where the tram can stop for any urgent requests.
Toilets are at the Ballarat Tramway Museum, and can be accessed prior and after your High Tea Experience.
This tour doesn't commence in Melbourne, although V/Line offer hourly weekend service to Wendouree^ for as little as $3.60* for the day. The Ballarat Tram Museum is only a short walk from Wendouree Railway Station.

No, although we do offer a $7.50 per person entry which is up to 50% off* regular entry. This includes unlimited regular historic tram rides throughout the day.
* Normal Adult entry to Museum & tram ride is $15. Concession $12.
No alcohol will be served or available for purchased on this tour. Strictly no BYO.
Drinks that are included are Hot drinks (variety of tea & coffees) and Cold drinks (variety of soft drinks, juices and water) as listed above.
The tram has 4 table of 4 seats, and 4 tables of 2 seats. Bookings will be seated together (where possible), although please be advised any odd number bookings will have another booked on there table. Of the 24 seats available per session, 16 of the 24 seats have window seats.
On occasions, bookings of 2 will be seated on a table of 4 with another party. Tables of 2 will be given to early bookings, once all 4 tables of 2 are taken, table of 4 will be used.

As table seating are tables of 2 and 4, please be advised any odd number bookings (I.e. 3 in group) will have another booked party on there table. On some occasions, your group may need to be seated on 2 separate tables, although where possible tables will be opposite each other.
The tram is accessed via stairs.
No additional fees, charges or hidden costs. We pay all card fees and ticket costs. You will only pay the advertised ticket price.
This tour isn't suitable for very small children, and prices are per person (per seat). Any requests for small children, please email us prior to booking. Children approved must be supervised at all times.
